Readers, sources, and subjects of coverage may report a factual error by emailing [email protected] with the page URL, the statement at issue, supporting information, and a way to reach you.
What happens after a report
- We acknowledge and review a good-faith request as soon as practicable.
- We compare the published statement with the available evidence and seek additional verification when needed.
- If the work needs correction, clarification, or an update, we revise the page and add a note appropriate to the significance of the change.
- If we do not make a requested change, we may explain the decision or invite additional documentation.
Correction, clarification, or update?
- Correction
- A substantive factual error has been fixed. The note identifies the error and the correction.
- Clarification
- Accurate language could reasonably have caused misunderstanding, so the wording or context was improved.
- Update
- New verified information was added after publication without changing the earlier factual record.
Corrections log
No corrections have been logged on this page as of August 21, 2026. As independently addressable reporting expands, material corrections will be recorded here and, when appropriate, on the affected page.
Do not send sensitive material by email. A correction request should contain only the information needed to identify and verify the claimed error. We may need to withhold or minimize personal information in a public correction note.
Editorial accountability
Corrections are handled under the editorial standards. Data and civic-answer pages are also governed by the methodology and verification policy.
